Gautam Gambhir is not coach, he is manager: Kapil Dev

India's 1983 World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev, at an event, said that Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir is not a coach but a manager. Kapil added that the term "coach" is often misunderstood in contemporary cricket. "As a manager, you give [players] encouragement and say 'You can do it'," he further said.
