World-famous gay penguin Sphen dies, his partner Magic sings after seeing body

Sphen, one half of world-famous gay penguin couple of Sydney Aquarium, died recently aged 11. When aquarium staff took his partner Magic to see Sphen's body, he immediately began to sing in mourning, followed by the other 45 penguins in the colony. The couple became symbols of same-sex love in 2018 after staff noticed them building a nest together.
