GDP growth to slow down to 6.9% in FY27 from 7.6% in FY26: RBI

The RBI on Wednesday projected real GDP growth of 6.9% in FY27, down from the real GDP growth estimate of 7.6% in FY26. The projection takes into account the adverse impact of the Middle East war. RBI pegged economic growth for the first quarter at 6.8%, second quarter at 6.7%, third quarter at 7.0% and fourth quarter at 7.2%.
