Geeta, deaf-mute girl brought back from Pak, pays tribute to Swaraj
Geeta, the deaf and mute Indian girl who was brought back from Pakistan in 2015, paid tribute to late External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj whose efforts had helped in her return. Swaraj had referred to Geeta as "India's daughter", adding the "government will foster her". Pakistan Rangers had found Geeta on Samjhauta Express when she was 7-8 years old.
