Gemini can't edit Sheets, how can Google fumble this badly?: Ex Google techie

Morgante Pell, a former Google engineer and member of the technical staff at Cognition, criticised Google's Gemini for being unable to edit Google Sheets despite both products belonging to the same company. "How can Google be fumbling this badly?" Pell said, adding that while embedded agent works, general agent does not, pushing users toward competitors like Claude for cross-tool workflows.
