Gemini may soon book rides, place orders on Android phones: Report

Google is reportedly working on a "screen automation" feature that could let Gemini interact with apps on the user's behalf to complete actions like booking rides and placing orders in its upcoming Android 16 QPR3 update, 9to5Google reported. The report cited Google app beta version 17.4, which includes references to a feature called "Get tasks done with Gemini".
