Gen Z fuels 40% surge in festive travel searches: Airbnb

Airbnb data shows domestic festive travel searches by Indian travellers grew nearly 40% year-on-year, with Gen Z driving similar growth. Varanasi emerged as a top choice among younger travellers, alongside North Goa, South Goa, Kolkata and Bengaluru. Family travel searches also rose over 40%, while rural destination searches grew 30% year-on-year.
