General Electric cuts jobs at onshore wind unit amid restructuring: Report

General Electric (GE) is laying off workers at its onshore wind unit as the company plans to restructure and resize the business, a Reuters report said. The company reportedly notified employees in North America, Latin America, the Middle-East and Africa about the job cuts. The layoffs are likely to affect 20% of the onshore wind unit's workforce in the US.
