'General Hospital' actor Johnny Wactor, 37, shot dead in US

Actor Johnny Wactor, best known for his role as Brando Corbin on TV show 'General Hospital', was shot dead in Los Angeles, his family said. The police confirmed that he was shot after he confronted three men who were allegedly attempting to steal a catalytic converter from a car. "Wactor was a spectacular human being," his agent David Shaul said.
