General Motors cuts hundreds of exec-level, salaried jobs: Report

General Motors is cutting hundreds of executive-level and salaried jobs to cut costs and streamline operations, Reuters reported citing a source. The global reductions are in the "low hundreds", the source said. In a letter, GM Chief People Officer Arden Hoffman told employees that the firm is "committed to $2 billion in cost savings in the next two years".
