Gensol case example of egregious behaviour in market: SEBI head

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey said the fund diversion case of Gensol Engineering underlines an example of “egregious behaviour” in the market. This behaviour warrants closer scrutiny by all stakeholders involved in the IPO ecosystem, he added. Gensol-like issues may happen if supervisions are inadequate despite stricter guardrails, Pandey warned.
