Gensol Engineering unlocks value with ₹350 crore strategic deal

Gensol Engineering will sell its US subsidiary, Scorpius Trackers Inc., for ₹350 crore to US renewable energy firm. Deal includes global IP rights transfer (excluding India). Proceeds will boost Scorpius' India operations, Gensol's solar EPC business and clean energy initiatives. The sale, in two tranches, should conclude by March 2026. The company has a market cap of over ₹2,100 crore.
