German party leader calls govt pig, puppet: Leaked email

Political party Alternative for Germany's (AfD) top candidate for the upcoming general election, Alice Weidel, allegedly called the country's government "pig" and "puppet of the WWII Allied Powers" tasked with keeping Germany down, according to a leaked email. However, AfD dismissed the email as "fake" and said it is being targeted by a smear campaign.
