German President Steinmeier set for 2nd term as Greens endorse him

Frank-Walter Steinmeier is all set to become the German President for a second term after the environmentalists, Greens came out to endorse him. This comes after the Social Democrats and the Free Democrats had backed Steinmeier. The President will be elected on February 13 by a special assembly made up of lower house MPs and representatives of 16 German states.
