German rail operator staff who save energy to get monetary benefits

German rail operator Deutsche Bahn on Tuesday said it is offering its staff monetary benefits to save energy at the workplace. This move comes in as Russian energy giant Gazprom significantly reduced its supplies to Germany ahead of winter. Deutsche Bahn said each employee will be given a bonus of at least Euro 100 ($102) to start the conservation efforts.
