German study links genetics to intelligence and success

A new study has found that genetics may play a bigger role in intelligence and future success than previously believed. Researchers discovered a strong link between IQ and socioeconomic outcomes such as education, career and income, with much of the connection explained by inherited traits rather than upbringing alone. The findings have reignited the long-running nature versus nurture debate.
