German town evacuated on Christmas over WWII bomb

Around 54,000 residents of Germany's Augsburg have been forced to evacuate on Christmas day after authorities found a 1,800 kg unexploded bomb, dropped by the British Air Force in the 1940s. It is reportedly the biggest evacuation in post-war German history. Notably, unexploded bombs from World War II are still found in European countries on a regular basis.
