German trade union calls for strike of Amazon workers on Prime Day

One of Germany's biggest trade unions, Verdi, has called on staff at seven Amazon warehouses across the country to go on strike during Sunday's night shift. The strike will coincide with Amazon's Prime Day sale, and has been organised as part of a longer battle regarding better pay and working conditions. Amazon doesn't expect this to impact its operations.
