Germany aims to double Indian tourists’ overnight stays by 2030

Germany aims to double annual overnight stays by Indian visitors by 2030, German National Tourism Board chief said. Indian visitors recorded 5,37,565 overnight stays during January-July 2026, up 2.9% year-on-year while July alone saw 85,400 overnight stays, rising 3.6% from 2025. Incoming trips from India generated about 1.3 billion euros in turnover in Germany in 2025, its tourism board said.
