Germany backs India's energy transition at BRESE 2026

At the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit 2026 in New Delhi, German Embassy official Gottfried von Gemmingen said Germany has supported India's energy transition from the outset, citing the nearly 60-year-old development cooperation. Germany also brought a business delegation to explore renewable energy opportunities. Madagascar also expressed interest in learning from India's solar and green hydrogen initiatives.
