Germany become the 1st team to reach Euro 2024's round of 16 stage

Germany became the first team to reach Euro 2024's round of 16 stage, following a 2-0 win against Hungary. Jamal Musiala and Ilkay Gundogan were the goalscorers. Germany are the second team to score seven goals across their first two games in an edition of Euros after Netherlands in Euro 2008. Germany defeated Scotland 5-1 in their opening match.
