Germany break record for scoring most goals in FIFA World Cup history, overtake Brazil
Germany have overtaken Brazil to become the highest-scoring team in FIFA World Cup history after their 7-1 win over Curaçao in their FIFA World Cup 2026 Group E opener. The result took Germany's all-time World Cup goals tally to 239, one ahead of Brazil's 238. Brazil had earlier moved to 238 following their 1-1 draw against Morocco.
