Germany has rebuilt Berlin Wall: JD Vance on AfD's 'extremist' tag

US Vice President JD Vance said German government has "rebuilt" the Berlin Wall which had been torn down by the West. His remarks came as Germany's spy agency classified far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) as "extremist". The Berlin Wall divided East and West Berlin during Cold War and stood as a symbol of ideological division until its fall in 1989.
