Germany hikes visa quota to 90,000 per year for skilled Indians

Germany has decided to increase the annual cap on skilled labour visas from 20,000 to 90,000 for Indian professionals to address workforce shortage issues. The focus will be on filling critical gaps in sectors like nursing, IT and caregiving, as per reports. The visa processing time for Indian applicants will be reduced to two weeks, reports further claimed.
