Germany plans to offer free rapid COVID-19 tests to all citizens

Germany's Health Minister Jens Spahn said that the country is planning to offer rapid coronavirus tests for free to citizens from March 1. The rapid antigen tests are now sufficiently available in the market to enable local test centres and pharmacies to offer free tests, he added. "These testing options can contribute to a safe everyday life," Spahn further said.
