Germany probing reports of illegal Chinese police station in Frankfurt

The German police and internal security services are investigating whether China maintains an illegal extraterritorial police station in Frankfurt, an Interior Ministry spokesperson said. This comes after Spain-based human rights NGO Safeguard Defenders in a report alleged that Beijing had established 54 overseas police "service stations" in 30 countries, including Germany and the Netherlands.
