Germany slams EU plan to ban trade with Israel settlers in West Bank

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul opposed EU's plan to ban trade with Israeli settlers in West Bank. He said the issue should be addressed by direct communication with Israel's government and not through trade restrictions. "We have a clear position on settlement policy, it's inconsistent with international law. I made this clear during my visit to Israel," Wadephul further said.
