Germany's expert vaccine panel, the Standing Committee on Vaccination (StiKo), on Thursday approved Novavax's protein-based COVID-19 vaccine for adults. StiKo added the vaccine should be administered in two doses, at least three weeks apart. Novavax is expected to deliver 38 lakh doses of the vaccine, which was approved by the European Medicines Agency in December, by March 20.
