Ghalibaf re-elected as Iran's parliament speaker for 7th time

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf was re-elected as the speaker of Iran's parliament for the seventh time, the country's state media said. Ghalibaf received 235 votes out of 271 in an election held on Monday, Iran's state-affiliated ISNA news agency reported. He has been acting as Iran's top negotiator in peace talks with the US amid the Middle East war.
