Ghaziabad Crime Branch busts fake insurance call centre

Ghaziabad Crime Branch arrested seven people for running a fake call centre that defrauded over Rs 60 lakh victims using fraudulent motor insurance policies. The gang used Google Ads impersonating a major insurer across Kerala, Jharkhand, UP, and Delhi-NCR. Over 20 complaints were filed on the National Cyber Crime Portal. Ringleader Deepak Kumar remains absconding.
