Ghaziabad emerges as India's most polluted city in FY 2025-26
Ghaziabad has emerged as India's most polluted city in FY26, according to a report by the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA). Ghaziabad recorded an annual average PM10 concentration of 215 µg/m³ (micrograms per cubic metre), which is over three times the National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS). It is followed by Delhi (201) and Noida (195).
