Ghaziabad municipal corporation raises ₹150 cr through green bond issue

Ghaziabad municipal corporation has successfully raised ₹150 crore through the first-ever green bond issue by a municipal corporation, BSE said. The issue was oversubscribed by over four times. The corporation will use the funds collected to construct a sewage treatment plant. "Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam is the second municipal corporation to raise funds in...UP," BSE CEO Ashish Chauhan said.
