Ghaziabad schools to remain shut tomorrow over farmers' protest

All schools and colleges in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh will remain closed tomorrow as a preventive measure in view of the ongoing farmers' agitation. On Tuesday, protesters broke barricades and blocked NH-24 at UP-Delhi border, following which Delhi police used water cannons and tear gas to disperse them. The farmers are protesting over demands including farm loan-waiver and farmer-friendly crop insurance.
