Ghaziabad techie drowns in Ganga, friend dies saving him

A Ghaziabad techie slipped into the Ganga while bathing in Haridwar and was swept away by strong currents. In a desperate rescue attempt, his friend jumped into the river but also drowned. Both had travelled with families. Authorities recovered their bodies and warned pilgrims against ignoring safety advisories in dangerous river zones.
