GHMC to rope in private agencies for maintenance of public toilets

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is planning to rope in private agencies for the maintenance work of public toilets in the city. The state government has asked the GHMC to construct a total of 10,000 public toilets in Hyderabad by October 2. The GHMC has estimated the annual cost of maintenance of toilets to be around ₹23 crore.
