A giant emerald that weighs over 360 kilograms was discovered in the Brazilian mining region of Carnaiba in April. The 1.3-meter stone was sold to an individual who did not reveal how much he had paid for it. Notably, a 20-kilo emerald found in the same mine in 2001 was valued at $310 million (over ₹2,000 crore).
