Gifted Mercedes worth ₹1 lakh to Tiger before marriage: Sharmila

Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, during an interview with Kapil Sibal, revealed that she gifted her late husband Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi (Tiger Pataudi) a Mercedes before their marriage in 1968. "You couldn't buy a car directly; you had to get approval," she said. She said her husband was "supportive" when her pictures in a bikini were featured in a magazine.
