Gill has better credentials than Iyer to be long-term T20I captain: Manjrekar

Ex-India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar called Shreyas Iyer becoming India's T20I captain a "very interesting choice", noting he wasn't part of the T20I squad in recent months. Manjrekar said a captain should have a confirmed place in the team, adding, "That is where I think Gill has missed out because...Gill has better credentials than Shreyas to be India’s long-term T20I captain."
