Giriraj Singh defeats Kanhaiya Kumar by 4.22 lakh votes in Begusarai

BJP's Giriraj Singh has won the Begusarai Lok Sabha constituency, defeating CPI's Kanhaiya Kumar by 4.22 lakh votes. BJP's Bhola Singh had won from the seat in 2014 Lok Sabha elections, while JD(U)'s Monazir Hassan had won the seat in the 2009 elections. Giriraj had won the 2014 elections from the Nawada seat.
