GitHub lays off entire engineering team in India, 100 employees affected: Report

GitHub has reportedly laid off its entire engineering team in India. About 100 employees of the developer platform in India are said to be affected by the move, tech writer Gergely Orosz said. The Microsoft-owned company confirmed the layoffs and said, "As part of the reorganisation plan shared in February, workforce reductions were made...as part of difficult but necessary decisions."
