Give Indian parents first preference in child adoption: HC

While deciding an over adoption dispute between an Indian couple and an OCI (Overseas Citizens of India) couple, Bombay high court ruled that Indian parents should be given preference in child adoption over NRIs, OCIs and foreign nationals. "If Indian parents decline to accept the child in adoption, only then the child may be shown to foreign parents, court added.
