Giving SC status to Christians is fraud on Constitution: Madras HC

Madras High Court while allowing a plea by a DMK member challenging appointment of AIADMK leader to public office has held that conferment of scheduled caste status to a Christian is nothing but fraud on the Constitution. On behalf of AIADMK, a woman belonging to SC community, who later converted to Christianity had contested and become Chairman of Panchayat.
