Glacier Baba's illegal temple near sacred lake in Uttarakhand demolished

Authorities demolished an illegal temple built by a self-styled godman Baba Chaitanya Akash aka 'Glacier Baba' built near Devi Kund, a sacred glacial lake in Uttarakhand. It took officials two days to trek through the hazardous terrain and demolish the unauthorised structure at 16,500 feet. Chaitanya Akash claimed he received "divine orders" to build the one-room structure in a dream.
