Glass of Rishikesh's ₹69 crore 'foot glass bridge' damaged before inauguration

The glass at one end of Bajrang Setu, the country's first foot glass bridge under construction over the Ganga river in Rishikesh, was damaged by unidentified persons, officials said on Friday. The pedestrian foot bridge, built for around ₹69 crore, is paved with five layers of toughened glass each 12 mm thick, and the top layer was damaged.
