Global coronavirus death toll crosses 50,000 as Italy reports 760 deaths in 24 hrs

The global death toll due to coronavirus has crossed the 50,000-mark, while the cases have surged to more than 9,65,000. This comes after Italy reported 760 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the country's total to 13,915. Italy is followed by Spain, where 10,003 COVID-19 patients have died. China has reported 3,199 deaths.
