Global financial situation daunting, India is protected: DEA Secy

Ajay Seth, Secretary of Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), has said that while the global financial situation is "daunting", the Indian financial sector is well-protected. "The Indian economy...is well protected. Well-regulated systems are there," Seth said. However, he warned that India has to be cautious and be on the lookout for early financial sector stress warning indicators.
