Global IT biggies increase hiring in India due to high H1B cost

A survey of tech and banking professionals shows that over half of major technology firms expect to increase hiring in India in 2026, with visa restrictions on H-1B roles cited as a key catalyst. Around 28 percent link hiring shifts to these visa changes, while companies are building out India teams, creating new roles and relocating functions.
