Global left unites in Spain to defend against far-right amid Trump's actions

Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will lead gatherings of global left in Barcelona on Friday and Saturday, in efforts against multilateralism and the far-right. The gatherings named "Global Progressive Mobilisation" and "In defence of democracy" come amid US President Donald Trump's humanitarian aid cuts, military interventions and threats ​to abandon NATO.
