Global South in front row of global crises, in back row for decision-making: PM Modi

PM Modi said the Global South must transform from "rule-taker" to "rule-shaper" at BRICS Summit. He said it's in the front row of global crises but in back row when it comes to decision-making. Global governance's current structure, which resembles a pyramid with power and decision-making concentrated at the top, must be transformed into a platform of partnership, he added.
