GM CEO to lead auto industry's 1st majority-female board

First-ever General Motors female CEO Mary Barra will lead automobile industry's first majority-female board after two male directors retire later this year, Bloomberg revealed. GM's board will reduce to 11 members, with six female members. Barra will also become one of only two female CEOs to lead a majority-female board of an S&P 500 firm, Bloomberg added.
